Every time one of my dogs die I wonder if I can handle yet another loss ad that maybe I shouldn't get another one it hurts so damn much. In the last 20 years, I have had 3 dogs and only 1sits with me right now. My other 2 were mother and daughter Rottys the mother had to be put to sleep because she hurt herself playing with her daughter. Then around 7 years ago my Rotty(the daughter) died in her sleep. Dad helped me bury her and he died 2 days later than 1 year after my wife died. I was 43 when my late wife dog dies. (shes 13) I don't think I can handle getting another one but chances are I will likely get another one.

My husband and I are currently co-parenting our friend's dog since his living situation is unstable at the moment. He acquired this dog through an associate of a friend, and it was clear this animal was abused. His fur has since healed well, but he used to have bite scars. He is also missing a lot of teeth, either by being ripped out by people or when he was forced to fight. His leg had been broken at one point and never set properly, so he has a slight lameness from how the bone healed improperly. He is timid and fearful just the same as Jessica. It truly IS heartbreaking. Humans don't deserve dogs.

I wonder what prison that lady was in? Those tattoos look she is in some satanist cult from a prison. Who would want tattoos up their neck? I wouldn't want to be around her.

Like others what I can't believe I'm seeing is a big buff man so empathetic to a rescue that is so scared of her own shadow 💔💔💔💔❤❤❤❤❤ like he said its heart breaking. We had a rescue Bassett (we got her when she was 6-8 months, she lived with large dogs until us; and she would get a mouth full of food walk away from her bowl to eat, then go back. She didn't act like a Bassett hound until she was with us for 6 months; she didn't bark she was scared of so much and she was hand shy for a good while. RIP baby Dutchess, you were the empathy and strength I needed. Its all okay now that you aren't in anymore pain. Sorry its been 4 years since her passing, the wounds still haven't heald up as much as I would like, I shouldn't expect too much healing in four years since I had her in my life since I was 8-20 years. So she lived a good long 12 years with us.)

She’s beautiful and her new family seems to be, as well! I just wonder though, after living in a cage for so long and the abuse these animals have had prior, whether she and the other dogs won’t be potty trained. May God Bless them to have the wonderful life ALL pets deserve!

She loves people, the lake, other dogs, and just life in general! She is 100% not the same dog you see in the episode! She has truly, truly blossomed! I have a extremely shy dog and he is the best dog I’ve ever had. He is consider special needs due to this. But I love him. He is a Doberman mix. He’s a sweet and honey- I hope the man or woman who hurt him finds god.

I love this. This dog needs a real packleader, someone who is gentle and very calm. Someone who helps here gaining confidence. And that is exactly who he is. The dog wants to be with him.
